The National Health and Medical Research Council is currently designing a Targeted Call for Research into Biotoxin-related illnesses in Australia, with the aim of assisting in the diagnosis, treatment and management of patients. Research questions will be designed to examine any links between mould and biotoxins and complex symptoms most commonly reported as typifying Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS).
